Brit Totland, an A class dancer, has been dancing Norwegian folkdance since the 1970's. She learned Valdresspringar in the early 1980's. She teaches and works with Valdreslaget and the children's groups in Oslo.

Knut Arne Jacobsen has been dancing since the early 1970's. He learned Valdresspringar from several prominent teachers in the area. Knut Arne has participated in competitions in both dancing & singing in the Valdres tradition for more than 20 years.

Tore Bolstad is a well known A class fiddler and teacher in the Valdres tradition. He has a degree from the music school in Voss and is a performer and producer of traditional music. Tore is also an A class Valdresspringar dancer.

Britt-Mari Dahlgren Westholm took her first gammeldans course in 1982. Soon after receiving her big silver medal in 1986, she began teaching with Kalle Strandell. She has been a judge at the Hälsingehambon & other gammeldans competitions since 1992.

Bengt Mård has been teaching polskor since the late 1970's. He earned his big silver medal in 1984. He led the group Hörkens Bygdedansare in the 1980's during Kalle Strandell's absence. Britt-Mari and Bengt have been teaching together since 1987.

Johan Nylander was inspired by fiddlers Päkkos Gustaf and Päckos Helmer. He studied with Jonny Soling and Kalle Almlöf at the Malung Folk High School in 1997-98. He frequently plays together with Per Gudmundson, Anders Bjernulf and his wife Jenny Täpp Nylander. In 2003 he earned Zorn Silver and became a Riksspelman.

Björn Ståbi hails from Orsa, where he learned songs and melodies from his father and Gössa Anders Andersson. He has been active, both in Sweden and abroad, as a soloist, duet player, dance fiddler and course leader, and also as an influential producer and archivist of folk music traditions. Björn was awarded the Zorn Gold Medal.

Cajsa Ekstav is an accomplished nyckelharpa player, fiddler and traditional singer. She grew up surrounded by the rich folk music tradition of Uppland. In 1990 Cajsa was awarded the title of "Riksspelman". In 2008 she was awarded the prestigious "Uppland Spelmansförbund" gold medal. The award honored her fiddling, singing and teaching skills.

Loretta Kelley is the foremost American performer on the hardingfele. She has studied with some of Norway's top hardingfele players. Her recordings and performances have received critical acclaim both in the US and Norway.

Peter Michaelsen is known for his fiddling, teaching and music leadership. He was awarded a bronze medal at the Zorn competition. His powerful style and broad repertoire inspire musicians and dancers alike.
