Jonas has his music roots in Western Dalarna. He is known for his expressive and traditional style of playing and his passionate relation to music. Jonas also plays tunes from Älvdalen and Värmland and from Småland where he now lives. In addition to performing traditional tunes he is also a versatile musician who, among other things, composes music for the theater. Jonas trained at the Music Academy in Stockholm and has appeared as a musician and educator in many different contexts, both in Sweden and abroad. His main instrument is the fiddle, but he also plays mandola, Swedish bagpipe, harmonica and several other instruments.
